Lisa Flowers is a New York City Speech Language Pathologist who received her training from C.U.N.Y. Queens College’s esteemed S.L.P. graduate program and has decades of experience helping middle and high school students improve their language skills, communication effectiveness, social development, and real-world readiness.
Tasked early in her career with providing language therapy to adolescents without any compelling or even adequate resources, she began creating her own materials: worksheets, board games, writing scaffolds, and all kinds of fun activities. By using her creations with her students, Lisa saw what worked and what didn’t work, and over many years she modified and elaborated on her designs to best serve her adolescent students’ needs: out of love, commitment, and professional expertise.
Today, many of those worksheets form the heart of 52 Worksheets, trusted in classrooms, therapy rooms, and school districts across New York City.
