This resource is a favorite of my students! It includes a variety of obfuscated idioms for students to solve, followed by a variety of common idioms for which students can create their own obfuscations.

Students who aren't enthusiastic about working on improving their vocabulary skills often still enjoy word puzzles, which help expand and strengthen their vocabulary!
This resource covers obfuscations for common idioms, asking students to identify and correct obfuscations as well as create obfuscations of their own. These are tasks students tend to enjoy without compromising on effective practice using a dictionary and thesaurus while learning the meaning of unfamiliar idioms.
